Idea For FFXIV Guildleves

These are ideas put forward by me is an invitation to the FFXIV team and the community to vary the scope and depth of the guildleve system. Which is a great idea in theory but has been thrown to the wayside.I ask not that guildleves become the dominant content but act as a springboard to specific content that can be done when we want it and how we want it on the side when not doing the standard fare. Please feel free to add your own ideas or offer some constructive feedback.


I am new to making webpages so I don't even know if I can update this site based on feedback. But I just want to get this out there with the hope that the team considers this. Thank you!

The Ambition leve is an invading city type content.Anyone who activates this card will be taken to an instance with up to 100 total players that last 30 minutes. A DoH job will be to build siege engines,catapults,cannons,etc. A DoL job will gather ammunition,materia, or any other building materials to assist DoH or DoW/DoM.A DoW/DoM will of course battle enemies and man any crafted weapons. All adventurers will take part in an invasion of an enemy city.You can solo or group after entering the instance, the choice is yours.

The Benevolence leve is doing a kind act type of content.Anyone who activates this card will be taken to an instance with up to 4 total players that last 10-30 minutes. A DoH job could repair things at someone's house,magitek armor,water pumps,etc. A DoL job could tend to a poor person's farm,use a metal detector to find treasures for a This content can be soloed or grouped, difficulty will scale depending on numbers.

The Candor leve is acting out in a theater type of content.Anyone who activates this card will be taken to an instance with up to 4 total players that must act a role in a play.The participant's will have to pick out the appropriate line in a conversation or a verse in a song that fit's the theme. This content will have many different random scenarios and the role in the scenarios you play in are random.This content can be soloed or grouped, difficulty will scale depending on numbers.

The Charity leve is a flying and dropping goods type of content.Anyone who activates this card will be taken to an instance riding a flying mount.The participant's will have to fly over areas in the world and drop food,clothes, and various other things to civilians on the surface.This content can be soloed or grouped, difficulty will scale depending on numbers.

The Concord leve is a journey type of content.Anyone who activates this card will be taken to an instance such as a huge desert or island with up to 8 total players that must travel together to a mysterious ruin.The area maps are random and vast, no aeytheryte or mounts can traverse this unforgiving land.You can travel alone in the day but it will be difficult. At night it becomes too dangerous to travel alone and it is recommended to group.During the travels, you or your group will have to set up camps at specific intervals, gather food and water, hunt game, and keep your equipment at decent shape.If you do not your journey will end.The monsters and environment in these areas are incredibly tough to weather.The areas in this content are so vast that the journey is episodic and camps act as waypoints to which you can return to should you quit the journey and wish to continue another day with your friends or new strangers. Difficulty will scale depending on numbers.Should you reach the ruin, you or your group must traverse the depths and uncover traps and secrets hidden within.

The Confidence leve is all about trusting yourself and others.Anyone who activates this card will be taken to an instance with tough traversal obstacles such as chasms,deadly waters, impenetrable walls,etc.Up to 8 total players must travel together to investigate an anomaly in the distance seen with the naked eye.You can travel alone or in a group after entering the instance.During the travels, you or your group will have to build ladders,rafts,pontoons,rappelling gear,etc.Difficulty and traversal options will be more various as the group grows.Think Indiana Jones or thrill seekers, explorers exploring vast mountain ranges and such.

The Contentment leve is an hunting game type of content.Anyone who activates this card will be taken to an instance with up to 10 total players that last 30 minutes.All adventurers will take part in a series of games that involve shooting fleeting prey with arrows while mounted on a chocobo,a fishing contest hunting down unique fish,or various other games.Scores will be tallied and the reward increases depending on well you performed.This content can obviously be expanded more, I am only setting a framework.

The Courage leve is a besieged from FFXI type of content.Anyone who activates this card will be taken to an instance with up to 100 total players that last 30 minutes.All adventurers will take part in an instance in protecting one of the major city-states.You enter the instance solo but are free to group up if you wish.The enemies attacking the city are whatever the current level cap is.You can enter at any level, but if your level is too low, you might be relegated to casting cures most likely to avoid death.Enemies will come in waves from their respective races and attack different cities at different times.I am contemplating somehow tying in consequences that affect the open world cities but will need some help to find relevant but non annoying punishments or rewards.

The Devotion leve is a fate type event similar to Svara, except you don't have to wait on respawns like a fate.The monsters and bosses you face are selected randomly. You can enter the instance solo and are free to group up if you like. Activating the card will take you to an instance with up to 16 total players that last up to 30 minutes.The instance will sync all players to the appropriate level.

The Dilligence leve is a standard group based experience chain party.If you played FFXI or older mmos you might describe this as monster grinding. There are no quest or extra priorities here. The monsters in this instance respond or react based off sight, hearing, etc.A group must be smart in how they pull monsters to camp to avoid being overwhelmed.No fancy sauce here, just kill,kill,kill.A variety of monsters are implemented randomly and variously to alter party dynamics.You can enter this instance solo but grouping is much more efficient with experience chains that are rewarding in this content.

Note:Sure wish we have some renkei or some kind of synergistic party skill chains to spice things up.This is for the old school crowd.Activating the card will take you to an instance with up to 4 total players that last up to 30 minutes.The instance will sync all players to the appropriate level.

The Diversity leve is a musical performance type of content.A specific random instrument will be assigned to you as you enter the instance.The setting will be standing in a city square or marching around the city while playing instruments.Players outside the leve can see you and hear you if their music is turned on and it is not filtered in settings.Notes will display on screen similar to guitar hero for each player and they must hit the appropriate keys in time to make a melody.High scores will award orchestrion tabs.Upon activating the card it will take you to an instance with up to 4 total players that last up to 30 minutes.

The Equity leve is a judge and jury type of content.Multiple criminal charges are being brought upon certain npcs. It is your duty to either be judge, jury, or witness.Upon activating the card it will take you to an instance with up to 8 total players that last up to 30 minutes.If you enter the leve solo, npcs will fill out whatever roles you lack.Each player is given three choices of truth,lies, or stretching the truth. It is your job as judge to provide the case information. It is the jury's duty to examine the info and try to find the truth. which is true to deal a verdict.The witness's will also relate pre given incomplete information.

The Esteem leve is similar to FFXI campaign.You will join a grand company of legionnaires equipping their armor and travel into enemy territory into a massive battle in open fields.Think Braveheart the movie or Suikoden army battles.Morale rises and falls depending on well the allies perform or as battle leaders friend or foe fall which results in the army getting stronger as the instance progresses.Upon entering you are grouped with other players automatically and if the instance is not filled, npcs fill in the extra slots.You and other players fight alongside the allied npcs.

The Gravity leve is a chocobo jousting tournament.Upon entering the instance you will face either an npc or other player in chocobo jousting depending on if the instance is filled.If the instance is not filled, npcs fill in the extra slots.Rare chocobo barding and jousting specific armor is unlocked here.The rules of play should be very simple and precise  like rock, paper, scissors.The instance lasts around 5-30 minutes depending on how far you advance winning.

The Hability leve is escort quest galore.Upon entering the instance you will guard a carriage, or herd of animal or people from one location to the other.I know this isn't very exciting but it is all I could come up with for this card.The instance lasts around 5-10 minutes depending on how far you travel safely.

The industry leve is a treasure hunting instance involving digging, displacing earth with bombs, avoiding/disarming booby traps while solo or in a group.Think of FFVI Phoenix Cave or an Indiana jones treasure room.

The Ingenuity leve is about serving guest at banquets.Upon entering the instance you will be at an extravagant dining hall or a festival.This leve is designed for DoH/DoL.You could either be a chef cooking the event's food menu or a server bringing meals out to guest.The instance lasts around 5-15 minutes depending on how efficiently the event is running.A little icon will be placed over guests head displaying how a guest wants their food served and where in line their order was placed. It's Burger Time XIV..

Justice leves require you to slay a monster to acquire bait, then using this bait at promising locations to flush out the leve target. If the target is not at the location, you will be given a message about how close you are, and a monster may spawn.

These Munificence leves require you to gather a set quantity of items, with the leve ending once the quota is met.

These Piety leves require you to go spear or harpoon fishing for a select variety of fish with the leve ending once the quota is met.

These Promptitude leves require you to race around an area on a chocobo or mount making timed deliveries

The prudence leve is a game of the tarots.You will enter solo or grouped up with 2 players into a an instance like a void. Standing before you will be three wise men, each of the men holds a book filled with cards.The wise men will deal you a card from the fated cards face down.It is the task of you or your party to choose one of the three cards by standing on the chosen card.You will be spirited to certain area depending on what card is chosen. Their are three difficulties that are random depending on the card chosen.SE would have to make the selections interesting.

The Resolve leve involves playing a hero.You are tasked to save civilians from life threatening dangers such as tornados,burning buildings,monsoons,etc.Your task can be putting fires out,getting people to higher ground, fighting off enemies and such.This leve can be done solo or in a group, the number of disasters happening at once increase as the size of the group increases.

The Service leve involves doing job specific quest for the class/job you are on.These quests would provide more brevity or backstory to the class/job you are currently on.For example, a white mage may be tasked to handle some business affairs for the church while a bard may be tasked with calming sadness with a melody.

These Sincerity leves require you to turn in a certain quantity of fish, allowing you to turn in additional quantities up to three times (or 6 times for the (L) leves) for more xp and loot. 

These Sympathy leves require you to escort a target, using the /beckon emote to lead him to you, and slay any monsters that attack him.

These Temperance leves require you to visit a set number of destinations, whereupon monsters will spawn that must be defeated.

Tenacity leves are survival mode leves.Wave after waves of enemies attack.The more enemies you kill and survive against in the time limit, the greater the reward.Monster numbers and difficulty scale according to size of the group.This instance can be done solo or grouped with up to 24 players.

Truth leves is a trivia game type of content.You are asked to know truths by the crystal testing your knowledge about XIV lore and the world.Upon entering the instance you will answer to the crystal.

The Unity leve is like a public/instanced battle against a primal like "Steel Reign".But not sure if this is a good idea as it may take away from the fate.You can enter solo but survivability is better in groups.The instance last 30 minutes.This instance can have up to 16 players.

This Valor leve would function similar to hunts.You or a party hunt down random select notorious monsters in succession.The instance last 30 minutes.

The Vengeance leve is Mortal Kombat FFXIV. What started as a joke could actually be a fun break to introduce here in this leve.The instance last 5-30 minutes depending on how far you advance. It will have a story mode if wished.


The Veracity leve would entail figuring out visual puzzles.You or a party must solved puzzles and riddles to advance on a labyrinth to the end.Think of any offline FF puzzle elements or maybe something like the constellation connect the dots in Dragon Age Inquisition.The instance last up to 30 minutes.

The Vocation leve would be similar to a game like Thief or Assassin's Creed. The player/players must sneak around an enemy hideout avoiding enemies while trying to work their way to a prisoner or some type of treasure.If you get caught you get thrown into a prison and must break out to continue your quest.The instance last up to 30 minutes.

Wisdom leves all concern finding a set number of Necrologos pages, which will spawn a boss when the last in a set is acquired. Sometimes this involves interacting with objects, other times, the pages drop off of mobs spawned by the leve.

The wit leve will be Final Fantasy Tactics XIV type of content.A player will control all the player's team like a game of chess fighting against the AI team 8vs8 until a victor is decided.Arenas and enemies will be random each time activating this instance.This instance supports up to 8 players.That is each player can control up to one player in multiplayer parties, if the group is not full the remaining players play multiple characters on the PC side.
